Volunteer
Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy (AACPA) believes that parental involvement is an invaluable factor in the success of our student’s educational achievements.
Our goal is to increase parent involvement, provide assistance to classroom teachers and administrators in order to improve the overall communication between the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy and the community we serve.
On August 15, 2009, Assembly Bill #243 went into effect. The law requires Nevada employers to provide unpaid parental leave to their employees in order to participate in certain school conferences, activities, and events.
The AACPA Parent Commitment to Excellence requires that parents volunteer a minimum of twelve (12) hours a school year per household on the Agassi Prep campus or during Agassi Prep off campus activities.
It is critical that parents actively support AACPA. Research studies show that such involvement causes students to behave better, earn higher grades, score better on tests and graduate at higher rates.
There are several ways in which parents can be involved and participate in the educational achievement of their children at Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy.
If you are interested in becoming a parent volunteer, please contact the Agassi Prep Parent Liaison, Kimberly Adams, at (702) 316-2430.
