Middle School College Readiness:

Our teachers and staff provide support to our young men and women on their pathway to college.  We realize, being the middle school, that we are the bond between elementary and high.  In order to prepare our students with rigorous curriculum and high standard expectations, we know they can’t do this alone.  We require family support and participation to aid in student achievement.

Homework Expectations:

Andre Agassi Middle School has an expectation for rigor not only in the classroom, but also during the completion of homework.  The expectation of a Agassi Prep middle school student is that they will receive and complete at least one and a half hours of homework each night.  This not only aids in the nurturing of their independent work ethic, it also prepares them for the standards of high school, which also increase at the college level.

Promotion Requirements:

To be promoted to the 7th or 8th grade, a student must pass one semester of English or reading and one semester of mathematics during the 6th grade. To be promoted to the 9th grade, a student must pass three semesters of English/reading and three semesters of math during the 7th and 8th grades.
